Meditation can change your life.

Our lives are filled with distractions. When was the last time you left the house without your phone? When was the last time you switched your phone off or put it onto silent?

With this new age of technology, does all this technology really make our lives better?

It used to be that if you went out with a friend they had your complete attention, now you both need to fight for each others attention against your phone. Reading messages and checking social media, is it any wonder more and more people are showing signs of anxiety and stress.

Even when you are asleep your brain is still listening and processing information. When do you get time to rest? I'm not talking about time spent on social media or playing a mind numbing game on your phone. When do you actually rest your brain and give it permission to rest.

At the very core of meditation it is not to help you rest but rather to help you find inner peace. To help you release whatever it is you need to release. There is a famous internet old zen quote:

This means that if you have a really busy schedule and you can’t find time for 20 minutes meditation then your schedule is too busy and as such you need to spend an hour meditating.

Tonight is the night of the full moon and this is very special for moon. What this full moon you can release a lot more than you would normally be able to. This is a very powerful releasing period. For those of you about to embark on your atunements, Now is a really good time to start the process with either a releasing meditation, cord cutting meditation, or a full moon releasing ceremony. So whether you’re one of my students from Australia, Ireland, or the UK now is the time to start releasing process in preparation for your detox and attunement.

You need to detox for one week before your Attunement. The level of commitment you make to this detox is purely at your own discression. However, the more effort you put in to reduce the amount of sugar, caffeine, alcohol, and nicotine will have a direct result in how your body responds to your Attunement. Make sure you drink plenty of water and keep yourself hydrated. This is as important after the attunement as it is before. You should also continue with your detox for a few days at least afterwards. If you choose not to detox then you stand the chance of having what is called a Reiki crash. This is where your body has its own clear out and you are left with the side effects. This can be in the form of emotions, flu symptoms, or spending long periods on the toilet. However, the more you detox and are Kind to your body, the less chance there is of you having a Reiki crash afterwards.

By taking advantage of the full moon tonight And doing some form of releasing process, this provides your mind and spirit with an emotional release/detox. You may find that with any releasing process your physical body also has a clear out.

If you take the time to detox emotionally and physically then your transition after the attunement Will be so much smoother.

You may feel that you are unaware of needing to release any form of emotional baggage. In this case if you meditate and connect with your higher self, you can ask them to decide what it is you need to release. Usually find that you didn’t realize that you had an issue until it was brought to your attention. It may be something minor or something major but it is always better deal with your issues and your past.

The best of luck with you releasing process and you’re onward Reiki journey. Reiki truly is A lifestyle choice and not a religion.
